Is there any progress on finding a replacement for a ping pong ball for your loop siphons? I know its an old post, but after much experimentation, I have not found the perfect solution. I still have to check my siphons regularly to break the suction. Thanks for your posts!
Thanks for the comment, I resolve not to pursue the experiment. The siphon I use is already working great, I can say in my installation is 100% without any problem. I only need to clean the system maybe once every couple of month or so. Therefore I feel the loop siphon is not needed in my case. There is a design by someone that use venturi effect in a loop siphon, that design should work.
Salam Mr Afnan, Really appreciate if you can share your contact number or email. We are planning to go and visit your project for our research purpose in university. Thank you.
Aquaponics is a combination of aquaculture adding nutrients to aquaponics, which is growing fish and other aquatic animals, and hydroponics which is growing plants without soil. Aquaponics uses these two in a symbiotic combination in which plants are fed the aquatic animals' discharge or waste.
Im going to try this too!
