Affnan's Aquaponics - The Manual

I am writing an article on Aquaponics, actually its more like compiling all my previous postings with few new ones to make into pdf booklet.


Its in layman language, easy to understand minus the complexity to get started in Aquaponics. Below few new pages I am making, just to share a sneek peek... preview. It'll take some time to do, that's for sure.

Need to beef it up, looks like a Pre-school book.... :)

Asparagus Update - 1st Dec 2010

More germinate, not sure what to do now. Got to do some reading, how to handle it.

Tilapia - Feeding Frenzies

This photos sequence are showing my Red Tilapia feeding.

Above how they react whenever human presence felt. They will congregate near this area.

Few seconds of chaotic feeding, and grabbing as much as possible.

Tilapias has small stomach, they stop early. After the big ones has their fill then its the smaller juvenile turn. I don't overfeed them, to make sure they don't produce too much waste.


Commercial farm will feed them three times daily, we could get away with less than that.
